The adventures of Skye and Iris part 1

So I share an apartment with four other girls, there is one that has a room by herself, two that share a three bed room, and then my room who I of course share with Iris. Iris and I have been getting lost since day one (it's only been four days) and its been great because somehow we always pick the worst time to be lost and it's always at night. So it all started that wonderful Tuesday we had just gotten out of our last day for orientation. One of my other roommates Nura, Iris, and I decide to Walmart. Once we arrived back to the apartment Iris and I decided to go to TJMAXX because I needed a large bag to take to work. So we decide to take the metro... We made it to Metro center and immediately get lost because my phone GPS was taking us in circles, honestly I thought it was trying to get back at me for using google maps for the metro and it felt betrayed, so I've only been using my GPS for my phone since then (don't cheat on your apps). So we finally make it to TJMAXX and were there for like a good 30 minutes and then we decide we want to find out where our jobs are so we don't look like weirdos walking up and down random streets, well we ended up making it after a good hour of my phone taking me in circles (just saying it obviously gets very jealous). We finally found our work sites and they ended up being across from each other. So then we try to find our way back and lets just say we almost ended up in Georgetown... so we thought we realized where we were (almost in Virginia) and turned around and ended up walking into the Shaw district and I've always been told to never go down there, and well I did!  We looked up after walking almost three blocks and realized where we were. So we turned around and by 15 minutes later we ended up at McPherson metro and thought we were headed home but it was closed and we only had 15% left on our phones. Then out of nowhere Iris had to pee and there was no waiting on that and EVERYONE was closed except one pizza place. She had to buy three garlic knots to be able to use the restroom! So we finally leave there and were using what is left of my phone to find Metro Center because they close at 11 p.m. and it was 10 p.m. my phone decided to be nice to me and take me to the metro and get me there and we made it at back home.
