A Suprising Close Friendship

I don't usually get close with people so easily, especially when we first meet but surprisingly I did when I got to D.C. I was so nervous I wasn't going to like anyone but I ended up liking everyone especially one of my new best friends Iris.

Iris and I are like two peas in a pod, we get each other so easily. She is from South Carolina which is 15 hours from Oklahoma. No we didn't click over the fact that we are both from the south and our love for fried chicken and BBQ, but we have similar thoughts and personalities.

Iris is quiet but goofy and I'm loud/quiet but goofy  and we just merge well with each other. We literally have become such great friends over these past two months, I don't know what we are going to do without each other when we go home. We can find anything to talk about and sometimes we end up almost missing out stop on the metro because we just keep talking.

Our first week together was the funniest thing because we got lost so many times together. We asked everyone if they wanted to go with us to go shopping and to find our placement sights but we got lost on our way home.We walked pretty much all over DC but I feel as though that's how our friendship began.

I can't thank you enough for what kind of friendship we have, to be able to connect with someone on such a personal level on such a short amount of time is unreal. To be as close as we are in two months is something I will be forever be grateful for the GBCS to give me that. I feel as though we have a friendship that will last a life time and God brought us into each others life on purpose.

I will miss you so much, especially our late night convos when we both can't sleep. How we constantly want food like all the time. You have become one of my best fried and I will miss you when we leave each other, so please don't cry when you read this. But don't worry I will come visit you in ole Carolina.

Love,
Skye
